Having shot commercial work for Sacoor Brothers, Jacques immediately visualised Killian wearing their clothes. He felt that their style, sophisticated look and attention to detail in their crafting was the best brand suited for his lead character.
Finding the perfect location for the island resort where an important part of the story plays out was an easy choice for Jacques. Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island is an amazing resort which offered him a variety of different looks in one place. The Island very much is a character of it's own in the movie and adds that something special to the story.
Ellington Properties, as far as upmarket property development goes, is one of the best in Dubai. When Jacques walked into the reception area of their offices, he knew that this is what Killian's company would look like. They provided their offices and developments as locations for the film.
BOA is Jacques favourite nightclub in Dubai and it isn't hard to see why. The dance performances and the unique layout serves up an entertaining environment in which to party the night away. So it was a natural choice as a location where Killian and his best friend Danny enjoy the fruits of their labour entertaining their friends.
La Boheme and Trianon are two very unique restaurants situated in the same building on the famous Dubai JBR walk. Jacques lived in the region and watched them build the restaurants over a period of three years.
He knew that one day he would shoot there and Louder was the perfect story for the location. The immaculately designed interiors and opulent look and feel suited Killian's world perfectly and added more variety to the different locations that Louder was shot in.
Body Language health centre situated in Al Barari is set in a beautiful, natural environment. Once you're there, you'll forget that you are in Dubai as you take in the sights and sounds of mother nature. The peaceful setting was exactly what Jacques imagined for the yoga centre where Carol runs her workshops.
The Madinat Theater Jumeirah is in the heart of Souq Madinat which itself is a beautiful Souq with it's Arabic styled architecture built around water canals. Once again Jacques felt that as a location it added value giving the film a very diverse look and feel. The theater itself is stunning and any directors dream to shoot in.
Jacques being a native South African, he was happy to be working with Meat Co. who's menu and theme is rooted in African cuisine. The restaurant offers a great view over the Burj Al Arab and the tranquil water canal of Souq Madinat.
Resting high above the skyline of Dubai the penthouse of Five Palm Jumeirah proved to be a stunning location where Killian lived. Where else would a self-made millionaire live in Dubai.
The aptly named Penthouse Bar at Five Palm Jumeirah offers a great view and a sophisticated look. Yet another perfect location where Killian would entertain his friends and business associates.
